THE MISSIONARY CALL
Dennis and Linda have been involved in missions since 1994 when the Lord first called them and their family, Jani, Daniel and Laura, to minister at Christ for the Nations in Jamaica. After returning to the USA in 1996, they stayed in their home church 4 years until the Lord once again called them to serve, this time as teachers, at Christ for the Nations Poland, located in Gdynia on the Baltic Sea. They served on staff there for two years as the Bible school was being established, then worked with the leadership of a local church during a pastoral change until they were called to be directors of Christ for the Nations Poland in January 2005. As directors, their main focus was to teach and equip leadership for the forthcoming harvest of souls into the Kingdom of God.
Now they find themselves in South Africa upholding this same vision but in a much different way. Working with a non-for-profit organization in the Limpopo region of South Africa has opened a door of blessing whereby Dennis has been able to return to farming. But this time with their son, Daniel. The goal of this research farming foundation is to develop seeds and farming techniques for the African people. Dennis and Daniel work directly with univerisity and foundation representatives who carry out experiments on this farm. As you can see, they are still involved with helping others develop their destiny!
In addition to reaching out in this humanitarian effort, Destiny Developers also has another interest beginning to unfold. Plans are underway to reach out to the youth of Logan County in Illinois to inform them about our nation's Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the Preamble. The desire is that young people will gain a better understanding of the origin of the government of the USA. They hope to ignite an appreciation of our founding fathers and their ideals. When informed about these historic and precious documents, young and old alike will better understand our nation and want to defend these foundation stones of our republic. A committee is now being formed to implement this program called "The Patriots Project." This website will be updated as the plan develops.
VISION
As we proclaim Jesus, the Christ, as head of the church and the manifested Word of God, the goal of Destiny Developers International Ministries is to train, equip, empower and release Christians to do the work of the ministry. Expanding our vision to include historical pieces of writing which reflect our nation's biblical heritage is also in keeping with our desire to turn all eyes to the Bible as the foundation stone of every facet of life. We are commissioned to help build the saints of God so they apply the Word of God to their daily lives and in every sphere of their influence (on the job too), produce rather than consume, and become participants rather than spectators in the church. Believers in Jesus Christ are living stones being built together to reveal the presence of God in the earth. Our desire is to disciple and develop believers so they can fulfill their destiny in the local church and the wider Kingdom of Heaven, including farming!
